Lisa has worked in care for 27 years. Lisa started her career as a community health care worker, and has worked across the whole care sector, from children to the elderly. Lisa also has experience working in the learning disabilities and mental health field, supporting young offenders within a secure environment. Lisa has also been a foster parent, supporting transitions into residential settings and supporting individuals to have a fulfilling and happy life.

As a Mother, of a child with autism, Lisa knows how important it is to ensure people are well looked after and kept safe. Encouraging and supporting them to reach their full potential, whilst trying to promote independence as much as possible.

Lisa believes in caring for others as you would want to be cared for if you were in the same situation. Kindness, patience, and empathy towards the people we care for is the key to seeing individuals, happy, safe, and well cared for.
