Wayne has been working within the care sector for 23 years, and for the last 6 years for CLBD. Holding various roles throughout his career including support worker, deputy manager and managing services. Wayne has a passion for developing staff teams’ competence and confidence in supporting people with complex needs, through monitoring and giving feedback to staff utilising his ability to practice lead. Treating others with respect and breaking down the barriers and stigma that individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex needs often face.
More recently Wayne has discovered a real passion for training. Currently providing training across the organisation including Studio 3 Managing Signs of Stress and Distress by using Low Arousal Approaches in crisis management.
